How to enroll for Honors Credit:

Please contact Professor Wiese with your name and student ID number. Once she authorizes your enrollment for honors credit in the UW registration system, you can then go to your enrollment profile in MyUW to  enroll for 1 credit of Biochem 289.

Please Note: If you were enrolled for honors credits in Biochem 507 last fall, you are already authorized to enroll in Biochem 289.

For the extra credit, you will be asked to attend 10 seminars over the course of the semester and write a report on each. Starting around February 12, there will be a report due each week.  Reports will be submitted on the Biochem 289 website. If you miss the due date for a report, you will lose credit for that report. Failure to submit reports will affect your grade for the course.

There are several seminar series to choose from (in Learn@UW, click on "Links" in the NavBar for schedules). You can attend different ones each week if you wish. The Biochemistry seminar series is held on Mondays at 3:30 pm in Room B1118.
