General
The class will be held on Fridays at 11:00 am in room 175, Biochemistry Addition. Out of respect for the speaker, please do not be late.
As soon as you choose your paper (preferably by the Monday immediately prior to your presentation date), please email the citation and pdf to both instructors, Julia Zella (
jzella@biochem.wisc.edu
) and Wendy Bedale (
wbedale@biochem.wisc.edu
). The paper to be presented will be announced via email and the Biochem 911 website before Friday so that you may read the paper if you wish.
Grades
You will be graded mostly on your presentation and critical evaluation of the paper, but attendance and your earnest participation in completing evaluation forms for your fellow students will also influence your grade. Following your presentation, you will receive comments from your instructor(s) in addition to the evaluation forms filled out by your peers. However, your grade for the course will not be assigned until the end of the semester.
