Jeanette graduated from Bethel College in North Newton, KS in 2002 with
a B.A. in Biology, German, and Natural Sciences. After graduation she
worked as a research technologist for Dr. Brian Volkman at the Medical
College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. In 2005, she moved to Madison where
she is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
Jeanette is interested in studying the ribosome-associated chaperones
Ssz1 and Zuo1. Specifically, she is investigating the role of these proteins in activation of the yeast pleiotropic drug resistance pathway.
