This emeritus biochemist (14-years off the payroll) still enjoys the privilege of operating a Lab with highly competent coworkers-- Nancy Kneer (37 years), Padma Marwah (9 years) and Ashok Marwah (7 years)-- with their duration and toleration of this environment in parentheses. I thank this University and its administrators for that opportunity! The goal of our work is to find more active steroid hormones that are metabolites of DHEA. We have many that fit that description but none that are active in the nanogram range so the search continues. We have good cooperative efforts with Brian Fox and James Ntambi in Biochemistry, C. Chang at the University of Rochester, with the company that supports the Lab (Hollis Eden), and a few potential alliances at other schools. WCAFAM?
