PALS: A Place for Postdocs
The goals of PALS are:
I. To encourage fellowship between postdocs.
Social interactions are facilitated by refreshments at each meeting, generously provided by the Department of Biochemistry.
II. To provide a forum for the discussion of career issues facing postdocs.
Junior and Senior faculty regularly lead meetings of PALS, lending their perspective on the challenging career issues that postdocs face.
III. To keep postdocs up to date on the outstanding research being conducted on campus.
On a voluntary basis, postdocs present their own research regularly to PALS. The format of these talks is open, entirely up to the speaker. A secondary aspect of this aim is to spark more collaborations between postdocs.
